Diversity is something that Purdue promotes and it is very welcoming to be part of a school that is so accepting of all people. I did live off campus and commuted everyday to school but I always felt so connected to the college. The psychology department is wonderful and the experience they provide for the students is one that is unique as I frequently discuss with others in the same field.
I highly recommend this school especially the psychology program! The campus is very nice decent class rooms, minus some of the older rooms that really need some work. The financial aid department is a mess, the student workers gave me incorrect information several times caused issue after issue.
Paula Dunnett. Even though it's considered a satellite campus, it features all of the amenities of a large university. The faculty and programs are top-notch, preparing learners for success in an ever-changing society.
Heather Love. The faculty at this university are dedicated and caring. The Marriage and Family Therapy program at Purdue Calumet is one of the best programs in the country, and prepared me well for my career. The faculty had great investment in the students and the benefits are clear.
Taylor Lager. Small classroom size so once into upper level classes it felt like a family. I loved my time at Purdue and was able to stay at home and work to save money. You can go into any professors office hours and talk to them pretty much about anything. Yolanda Angelica Casillas. If you are seeking a construction degree, I personally recommend taking construction classes at their main campus. The other programs at Purdue Northwest current name such as psychology, engineering and creative communication are outstanding.
The professor's in that field of study are caring and understanding. The classes are challenging and you definitely will use the books. I read every single page in all my psychology classes. Classes vary from lecture halls to smaller student numbers of I felt very prepared for my career and felt safe in my environment. Kristen Uskert. In addition to the wealth of resources offered to Purdue students in particular the OWL writing resources, I felt my educational experience in the Business Entrepreneurship program adequately provided an excellent base for those desiring to start a small business.

Now it has Division III sports, dorms, and very updated computer labs. My favorite thing about Purdue Calumet is that the classes are much smaller than your traditional colleges.
